Saturday night Jason's parents came over to watch the boys, and we decided to go to a movie. Big shock, there is nothing good in the theaters. But, being desperate to get out of the house, we decided to go see Iron Man. It was so strange, I kept falling asleep. It was like... "Oh, gee, I wonder if Iron Man, the star of the movie, will get killed this time.... Oh my goodness, he just dropped 4,000 feet to the ground and is still not dead. What an absolute shock!" It was just a little too cheesy and predictable. The worst part was not the actual movie.
A man and his teenage son sat by us, and the kid kept saying all of the one-liners right before the actors on screen said them! Do you know how annoying that is. I sit and think "should I say something, or is this kids burly Father going to beat my husband up?" I have said things before in this type of situation, but the kid was only about 8 years old, and she had a wimpy-looking Dad.
Well, I kept my mouth shut. (hard to believe... I know). I just can't imagine me sitting there with my kid and not telling them that that sort of behavior is rude and annoying. Come on people!
Please, share with me your horrible movie experiences- and vote on my poll.

Hey first off thank you so much for the dinner it was great!!! Iron Man...you are so nice to go see that movie. You should of went to maid of Honor or what happens in Vegas (both are my new favorite shows.) I would have to say that a screaming baby is the most annoying... Or seeing young kids in movies they should not be in!
Oooh, those are good. I should add those to the poll. I wanted to see maid of honor, but Jason just looked at me like I was insane.
That is sooooo funny! Jake saw that movie last week and went on and on about how awesome it was. Too bad Jason didn't go with him, then you could have gone to the movies with Karen and I.
I have a hard time seeing movies lately. No matter how far away from people I sit, it never fails that some annoying group will walk past all the empty seats to sit right next to me. (Megan will vouch for this) I love it the most when they comment on the dumbest parts, or laugh at the stupidest things, or constantly ask whoever they are with what is happening. Oh, and no matter what movie I'm seeing, be it G or R, there is always a screaming child somewhere in the theatre which somebody else in the theatre always ends up "shushing"... making things just that much more annoying. I don't get it. I need a home theatre... if I had a home. -end of novel-
